Cyberpunk 2077 is still on track to get a PS5 and Xbox Series X optimised version later this year. Users on all platforms were also due to get free content updates throughout the year, but after the last few months that included a crippling ransomware attack, there’s unsurprisingly no word on when that free DLC might…

I’d not heard of them until last night, and was blown away by that video.  I saw they had a couple of releases on bandcamp, but awesome they have a record deal now.

I could have sworn this has talked about for year now, though?  Or was that just Rewind? I’ve kinda given up hope by now...

As much as it pains me to defend this shitty game (WD2 was soooooooo much better!), I’m pretty sure the broken saves were fixed by December? Granted that was upwards of 5+ weeks after the game launched.

I mean, if you’re just here to delay more games... :)

The xbox store (on console) has an option to disable autoplay. I’d be a little surprised if the same feature doesn’t carry over...

I do the same thing - I grab the “free” monthly games from a desktop/web browser, and then forget about it. I check email hours later and have a momentary feeling of “did my account get compromised? Did someone just buy $100 in FIFA points????”, etc, only to be reminded that, whoops, even the games that don’t cost you…

I uninstalled yesterday (based on their fuck up) and I’m not reinstalling it until they pull their heads out of their asses. Which appears is going to be awhile...

I was going to complement them on that fact that at least they’re making an effort with patching, and now I see the update about corrupted save files...ouch.

As much as I hate to admit it, it seems to have built hype, as articles like this are talking about it...

Yeah, it’s basically a weekend game for me, at this point.  It’s not the end of the world, but I do hope (as many people seem to be bringing the issue up) that maybe they’ll reconsider eventually.
