I would have been 8 at the time, and the Sinistar cabinet scared the shit out of me as a kid the first time I encountered it. Before that, there wasn’t a lot of digitalized voice. Berzerk is the only one I can think of off the top of my head (though I’m sure there were others) and it was robotic and not anywhere as

While I may not agree with you, I appreciate the time and thought you put into replies, especially this last one.

If that’s their vision, I’m glad I’m not giving them any money then. I’ll reward devs that treat their audience better.

But their vision is still there, in the original difficulty. It’s not compromised in any way. You can play it exactly as they intended, from beginning to end.

Again, if they’re paid $60, what does it matter how someone else plays the game?

Here’s what I don’t understand. If you don’t want an easy mode, don’t play it. But why is me wanting to play an easy mode, hurting someone else, who wants to play at the regular difficulty? Is their e-peen that fragile?

Nice shot in the arm the game could use.  I’m glad whoever changed their minds.

That’s how I’m treating this new gen. Multi plats and BC on the xbox, exclusives on the ps5. It fells like both companies are going in different directions, and the two together cover all the bases.

And then they have to slide you in the guts of a tauntaun afterwards to warm you back up, so the logistics of transporting those will be a challenge as well.

I have, but it seems like no matter what I look at, there’s a few reviews about batteries melting and the risk of fire. I realize those chances are extremely remote, but it’s kind of hard to pull the trigger once I see that.

It will beep at you, much like the PS4 would, and you’ll be faced with angry screens reminding you—shaming, even—why that was such a bad move. As if you didn’t know.

Seeing as UBI like to remaster, and as much as I loved Syndicate, I’d gladly pay for an uprezzed/higher framerate version. Or toss it in a season pass like they’ve been doing.

I have no patience for the Souls combat style (aka get gud, scrub), but damn, those screenshots look amazing.

Totally agree, but in this case, I’ll happily take what I can get.

I would argue gamers of both consoles win this one. After backwards compatibility, SSD gaming is the most exciting thing about this gen, to me.

Kotaku readers might be particularly interested in knowing that our former longtime colleague, Evan Narcisse, was one of the writers on this game.

Question, please: Since Playroom comes with the console (on the drive), is it bound to whoever logs into the console first? I’m thinking of deleting it for space reasons, but might revisit it later (but don’t want to lose if it’s not bound to my profile).

Surely this game will be dead my May, right?
