The fact that this is a gun issue is irrelevant. You do hand out guns indiscriminately to every nutcase with a wad of bills, and the last few weeks have proven that the elected leaders in Florida have no intention of changing that. So the problem becomes how to increase security and provide enough armed guards.

I’d argue the opposite.

It’s going to be more than a “well deserved side-eye from the rest of the world”. What the 2016 election established is that Americans cannot be trusted. You might come up with someone reasonable in 2020, but give it a couple of election cycles and we’ll be watching Martin Shkreli’s inauguration.

I make it a policy that I won’t engage in a discussion of how business is the lifeblood of the nation unless the person speaking can coherently explain what a point on the Dow Jones Average actually represents. For extra fun, ask why we get daily business updates on the news, but little to no labour news at all.

You can make a case for “most dangerous”.

Since Obama is black, he just qualifies for generic racism with perhaps a bonus for being uppity enough to become president. Clinton, on the other hand, is a white man who was styled “The First Black President” so he has the race traitor thing going as well.

Okay, I realize that I’m being a bit of a dick here, but whatever.

Stuff like this is why Whatsisname gets to talk about “Fake News” all the time. No one sabotaged her performance, there was an equipment failure that might have been avoided if she’d done her sound check.
