The scene in Alien where the monster bursts forth from the guy’s chest has got to be one of the best-sprung set-piece surprises in movie history — after all these years it still makes me jump even though of course I know it’s coming.

I was always kinda partial to this scene in Exorcist 3 (which I recommend to anybody who hasn’t seen it.)

Because 30 Rock is a show that is witty and smart enough to throw that in there as enough of a jab toward Weinstein where it would not be slanderous, and yet his inclusion came from somewhere.
