    As a programmer my first instinct was to wonder why it wasn’t automatic, but then I realized that the light operation might benefit from someone skilled at reading the vibe of the crowd manipulating it.

    At least a way to play existing Mario Maker levels on the Switch would be a godsend.

    Ooooh, from a game design perspective I really really like this.

    Okay, is the jump across the three fires in Native Fortress in the remake even possible without a mask? That’s the only way I beat that stage, and from what I read the new engine made it impossible.

    This writeup pretty much mimicked my experience seeing the trailer. Someone sent me the trailer even though I’ve been pretty clear that I have no attachment to Blazblue, and then I saw the Persona crossover. So this is going to be the first Blazblue game I ever pick up.

    I was totally about to ask if anyone had tested every possible input permutation. Figured someone had to by now since it’s a relatively short game.
