Bangle ruined all car design. First BMW, then everyone followed and here we are today:

This is exactly what I was going to say. This is an 8 series in name only. Someone had the bright idea in a meeting that to increase 6 series sales, it should be renamed the 8 series and this is the result. Blatant disrespect to their own heritage.

Then there is Nissan.

“What’s the first thing to come to mind when you hear ‘Chevy’?”

Oh man could I have fun with this.. (until they threw my ass out). I’d want a camera to record me being a total tool to publish on YouTube. “So how long until this Malibu is sitting in someone’s yard up on blocks?” “Is that expensive Corvette still overheating and blowing up engines?” “Any more people get killed in

The Edge is 10" longer, 4" wider, and 3" taller than the Escape, meaning that’s just a poorly made image in general.

Me: Citation, cavalier, cadillac’s decades-long malaise, Saturn, killing Pontiac, getting bailed out, just overall shit.......... Am I doing this right?

And for gods sake don’t say “Citation”. They’re still a little sensitive about that one.

“What’s the first thing you think of when I say Chevy?”

“Whats the first thing that comes to mind when you think of Chevy?”

Holy shit I just thought of the same thing. So basically:

I absolutely get the herd mentality and not wanting to be mean to the people running the show. But honestly, how can they not say, “Um, well, my 10-year-old Golf has better panel gaps than this thing, and seriously, did you get a discount for buying fifteen different types of plastic in bulk?”

I’d have more fun with it.

I already have enough reasons to not buy a Chevrolet. I’ve always disliked Chevy and their advertising always targets the lowest common denominator and the bottom of the barrel. This ad series is the icing on the cake and just drives home why I hate Chevrolet even more.

Ha ha.

Firstly, I’m impressed these actually ARE people off the streets. So you know, well done (because they look made-up, generally speaking).

Ha! That’s what I was thinking. My office coworkers have fleet vehicle Chevy Traverse SUVs that are just awful and had recalls and repairs for things that should never happen. One guy had a squeak develop that was from a weld separating. Poor quality control is a big red flag for me.

Driving a Chrysler.

Grew up with an RC car, desktop wall paper, and posters of this in my room. Finally was able to test drive one and the interior alone made me reconsider it completely.
