How often are you driving more than 200 miles at a stretch? Only 8% of drivers have a commute longer than 35 miles each way, with 68% having less than a 15 mile commute back and forth to work each day.

Put a couple Americans in it and it’ll be hella flush.
it’s not bashing, I think I explained it Yes, the Focus/Fiesta/Fusion/Escape badly need a replacement, and this is why Ford is hurting right now.
I, average buyer, would never buy a Ford sedan or SUV. I want a vehicle which will be in working condition 5 years from now. Every Ford my extended family has owned which was a car or SUV needed a transmission replacement or had a recall. These were bought new and needed work within 2 years. I’ll pass, thanks.
I wouldn’t worry so much. Even if California were to mandate full EVs (unlikely), companies would still build hot-rod EVs. Setting EVs aside, ICE designs are getting better and better such that you can make big power and both cleanly and efficiently.
I never understood this. The dealer I used to work at would get allocated like 10 of a car. We’d option 7 of them in popular colors and options, but the remaining 3 would be unique cars. Those remaining 3 were often the ones which held gross the best. Every so often we got a dud that just wouldn’t sell, but it’s worth…
I literally don’t know how any of us bought cars before the internet. Even if I don’t know exactly what I want when buying a car, I’m still going to search within some basic parameters first to narrow it down. I can’t even imagine going to a lot and trying to have a car salesman pick something out for me anymore.
These ads have a detrimental effect on my quality of life.
I can remember one I think it was for the Malibu where the car is de-badged and one of the “real” people claims they think the car is “a mix between a Tesla and a BMW.”
haha even Collegehumor got in on it.
They’re worse than “grounded to the ground”.
I saw the Equinox one then other night and nearly threw up. They’re not even getting better, they’re getting worse. That said, the spoofs with the dude with the Boston accent are pretty fucking funny.
Hell yes, absolutely. My wife and I do the same thing with cars (buy used) and until the domestics are able to come close to the consistent levels of quality that we’ve always had with Hondas (which are most likely assembled in Ohio or Indiana), there’s zero reason for us to lower our quality standards simply for the…

I’m wearing a Swiss watch, have a Korean phone in my pocket, my shoes are Italian, my jeans are American, my shirt is Vietnamese. This morning I rode on my bike that was made in Taiwan.
Holy shit, you mean the last FORTY YEARS of
