For me, basically every song on Viet Cong is fantastic. There's a lot more guitar and less synth influence on this album than on Preoccupations so be prepared. Also, if you haven't yet, check out the bassist and drummer's old band, Women. Public Strain is a great album.

This may be as close to a Preoccupations review as we'll ever get on this site. While I'd still dig an actual review, this is better than nothing.

If this season is as fun as that trailer makes it seem, it's gonna be awesome! I look forward to Melissa Benoist continuing to be amazing.

With you on Preoccupations' new album. Like you, I don't think I love it as much as their last album, but it is still a fantastic album. Don't know about you, but this will probably will end up on my list of fave albums this year.

Went to see Kubo and the Two Strings with my friend on Saturday. It was awesome. From the very first line, it had me. It was so much fun, and so well done. It was just all around fantastic to watch. When the movie was over, my friend posted on Facebook that everyone should drop everything and watch it now. I pretty

Alriiiiiiight! The Belchers are back, baby!

Not if their opponents block their field goals run the ball in for a touchdown. God, that was depressing to see on "highlight" reels, especially when you see that they lost by 3. Hopefully, they will get their shit together. It'll be difficult to get out of the 0-3 slump. Not impossible, but difficult nonetheless.

If I'm going to pick, I'll say Maggie Smith and Gary Oldman. Two of my favourite actors who are always great whenever they're on screen.

Wait, do all the Tatiana Maslanys (Maslanii? Tatianas Maslany?) share the same birthday Emmy? That seems unfair. She should have at least four.

Same. I was kinda rooting for Maslany, though. She is amazing on Orphan Black.

Red Dress has one of my favourite opening lines in a song. Just the way Kyp Malone says it is great.

I love Operator. Also, the acoustic version of Everlong is really great too.

DO IT!

Lately I've been reading DMZ and I've really enjoyed it. Heard they were working on a pilot for this and hope they can do right by the source material.

Agree with Janna being in more episodes. I've loved her since her introduction ("You'll need me soon enough, Marco, 'cuz I've got yo' house keys!"), and it was great seeing her more prominently in this episode.

Finally finished catching up with The Americans. Fuck, this show is so good! Now I can express the same anger everyone else has for how it didn't win the Emmys it deserved.
