This movie has stuck with me for a long time. When those emotional beats hit, they get me good. Jeez, I'm getting kinda sad just thinking about it. Lilo and Nani's relationship is definitely one of the main reasons why it's still so great. That fight where Lilo licks Nani's arm…I'm pretty sure that's happened in my

We Bare Bears is a top pick! Woot! Never thought that was going to happen.
I recently caught up with the show, and I really love its down-to-earth charm (you know, as far as it can be with talking bears who interact with humans and do lots of human stuff). Some of these episodes coming up this week have been on the

Sharknado: All Shark, No Bite (or maybe All Shark, All Shite)

Yeah, Vidalia! She's like if Pacifica Northwest was born into a middle class family. It helps that both are voiced by Jackie Buscarino, so the comparison can sorta make sense. Vidalia's sass is much more nuanced, though. Aside from the whole "You better pray your space goddess' magic can bring people back from the

All you want to be is someone who gets to see a giant woman.

When you go to a different tab while the beat is playing, it sounds slowed down, which is kinda interesting.

Man, that first picture at the top makes Matt Damon look like he's dying of old age.

Annie Hall.

DIIV's Is the Is Are, King Gizzard and the Lizard Wizard's Nonagon Infinity and Savages' Adore Life are some albums not mentioned here that I love from this year.
Still waiting on Preoccupations' (fka Viet Cong) album in September, but based on the first two tracks released, I'm excited.

After all the somewhat lighter Beach City-focused episodes, we got a heavy hitter in this one. I enjoyed this episode, but man, that was some darker shit we got into. I hope we get to see more of Lapis interacting with others and start to have a bit of fun, and I like that even though she's been through such trauma,

How you got to be a God of anything is totally amazing!

And if you don't know, now you know.

I know Eric said it in the review, but seriously, "I lost a battle of will" is so perfect. Estelle's voice really brings out how begrudgingly Garnet accepts Steven's request. Again, just so perfect. I haven't laughed like that in a while.

If I had control of the ice cream truck music (and if I was allowed), I'd play either Godspeed You! Black Emperor's "The Dead Flag Blues (Outro)" or the Velvet Underground's "Sunday Morning". It'll never happen, though.

You really can't go wrong with anything that starts with 'd-e'. 'Cept for maybe…

"This Russian hitman frames me and kills Marie. I'm super pissed." Damn right you are. No one kills Franka Potente without paying consequences.

Enjoyed the new Steven Universe and Star vs. the Forces of Evil. Look forward to what comes next.

I like it when I don't get any artist twice. It goes everywhere genre-wise, and you get some jarring transitions, which I sometimes dig. The switch from Swans to Stars of the Lid totally threw me off, but I liked it.

I like how you can vote for Best New Artist and Video of the Year, and then realize that (surprise!) your vote may not actually matter.
