Sure....absolutely no reason for Marvel fans to be upset that a fan favorite character is NOT going to be the character they are familiar with but another character that just is similar. Women ....alien....wombat....doesn’t really matter, it’s NOT the Surfer that has become iconic.....thus the frustration.

He is specifically talking about the mouth breathers who screech and post 15 minute reaction videos to YouTube. They have a very “loose” understanding of what comic books are supposed to be about and at best, it relies on their memories of the 90s and early aughts, not necessarily a high water mark for super hero

As a man with literally ALL the bound Silver Surfer trades...it doesn't matter. The Surfer will be a plot device, not a character, like in an event comic.

As his betrothed, Shalla-Bal is an essential piece of the Silver Surfer canon and eventually took up the mantel as the intergalactic metal surfer.

The reboot worked for Full House, and I would say Home Improvement was a little better than that in the silly family sitcom department.

I view Obsidian and Arkane as two peas in a pod: they’re both studios full of old-school developers, and made some of the greatest games in gaming history (Deus Ex, Fallout) who can craft very good - from a game design and writing aspect - games...

Someone recommended Planescape: Torment after I played BG2 back in the day, and...wow. That was where I knew things were different and gonna get weird: I remember clicking through multiple dialogue options for a long-arse conversation with a character who I was sure I just talking to as a preamble for the fight...and

Sadly, Alpha Protocol was Chris Avellone’s baby - hence the fact that dialogue and the “evil” path is so viable...and...yeah. He’s not doing another one.

All I ever want to do in RPGs is talk the bad guys to death and Alpha Protocol might be the best “talk the bad guys to death” game of all time.

Or poke at MS to encourage Obsidian to revisit it.

I have given you a star, I hope it helps :D

Well, since I never get out of the greys here any more, I’ve been replaying Dishonored 2. Actually, I can’t recall if I ever finished it first time around.

Ah yes, the party of small government in action.

He will very likely be the best thing about the series.

Like, how hard is it to just not say transphobic things at your workplace? When your whole job is speaking words other people write for you... maybe you don’t need to say anything else? How does it even come up on the set of the Mandalorian?

Plus he can actually act!

Which isn’t even getting to the biggest part yet: the actual star of the show she appeared in has become a superstar over the course of it, famously has a trans sister whom he truly loves and supports in every way, and presumably told their bosses: “shut her up or get her the fuck off my show.”  And, not being idiots,

Full on live service game, no thank you. I’m glad they realized no one wants that. But a multiplayer free roam mode with a buddy or two, yes please :D

More like Donnie the Con.

Back in the day, it was HBO and Cinemax, where the later was for b-rate movies and more risqué content. So when I see just Max, I connect the brand with Cinemax. Is that their intent?
