The US isn't exactly unique in the respect of playing the national anthem at sporting events. It's a tradition that we have established over the years, and there's no reason to change it. That minute and a half isn't going to hurt you, unless you have no business being at the event in the first place

I thought most modern cars equipped with DRLs had a sensor that turns on the dash lights/parking lights/tail lights/head lights when the ambient light drops below a certain threshhold? Yeah, people who drive at night with no tail lights are doing it wrong, but I don't see many cars that do that nowadays

Yes, an overcooked/undercooked menu item is the only thing that can be wrong with your order, right? Not anything visible that the server could notice on the plate on its way to you, not things that the servers do themselves, like non mixed beverages

That's terrible, and now I am angry at myself for laughing

Which is why OCP is willing to relocate there and will have enough money to financially control the city, giving them enough free reign and poewr to do something like build and field a Robocop prototype, or ED 2XX series, etc ;)

You're forgetting that GDDR5 has horribly slow latencies. you don't notice this on GPUs because they execute parallel functions, pulling data off x8 or x16 pci-e lanes. You can't directly compare DDR3 and GDDR5 (which is based on DDR3 anyways. GDDR5 is not 5x DDR, it's graphics double data rate rev. 5)

The mantra of 1990s RPGs: Save, and save often

My list nearly matched yours, but I put it

I too am a fan of stouts and porters. I don't really like IPAs so much, and it's not the bitterness that gets me, there are some really bitter imperial stouts out there that I love. My problem with IPA is they taste kind of grassy from all the dry hopping, and that's off-putting to me

You really seem to be hung up on getting the last word in. You've been posting just to post without actually making any points. Have a nice day

lol, so your first paragraph basically reiterates exactly what I've said. If this is the way you feel, there's no problem. We're in complete agreement about hwo tips should be handled. I don't have a problem tipping for good service. Your comment about me complaining is way off base. I prefer not to bring down my

What's wrong with DRLs? They aren't so bright that they do anything other than allow you to notice they're on, at least on any of the cars I pass on the way to work every afternoon. It's those improperly aimed HID lights on a lot of cars and some trucks that bothers me

Your posts seem to indicate that instead of risking bad service, cook at home. There was no need to quote the part where you said not to tip bad service, as you had JUST said that in your previous post.

Historically, armies have always been made up of young men.

"You know whats an even better experience and will probably save you a lot of money? cooking at home and spending quality time with your family. thats a pretty good experience that people dont get enough of right there."

No, you're getting it wrong, or maybe you're trying to convince people that don't want to tip for lousy service thatdoing int yourself is better. I am a capable cook, and I can cook for myself and my family quite well. I or my wife do this nearly every night. When we decide we want to go out to a nice restaurant,

I use the start menu pretty consistently. Mostly to access my grouped programs, but sometimes to do searches

I understand that this is the most effective method to provide feedback on employees at a restaurant, but remember, most people that are going out to eat at a nice restaurant probably aren't in the mood to go write employee evaluations. What I have noticed by and large is the waitstaff that bother to ask how you're

If I go out for dinner, I'm going out for either convenience (fast food, no tips) or for the experience (restaurants with waitstaff). If my experience is at least satisfactoy, I tip between 20 and 30% but if the experience is diminished significantly buy poor service, then I just spent a couple hundred dollars on what

A tip is voluntary, and I give generous tips for any service mediocre or better. If the service is bad, I won't tip, because I can't justify giving them extra money for poor service. That doesn't mean if they forgot to bring a condiment or the drinks were empty for a few minutes the service is "bad", but if they get
