I think we just need to remember that it does come from a place of standards set for female beauty that are unattainable or completely ridiculous. It’s possible to be supportive of these women and also question what we can do to build a society where fewer and fewer people will feel so bad as to resort to surgery.

I know it’s a mostly result of societal pressure to look a certain way, for goddamn yoga pants of all things.
