Blehhh. I love the hell out of Friends (don’t judge me) but god that storyline was terrible. Seriously no chemistry between Jennifer Aniston and Matt LeBlanc. And that mistake proposal was soooo stupid. Basically Season 9, which was the worst season, started badly and ended badly.

Except In Parenthood it was way more than a ‘trope’. This storyline in GG was borne out of desperation for stories. Jabber was introduced in the Pilot in Parenthood and Crosby’s entire storyline was based on that. Also Parenthood was awesome and needs more love and I miss it!

So I watched the episode and I literally agree with everything you said. I actually watched that therapy session clip on YouTube before the episode and I was so enthralled that it baffled me as to why this episode only got a B. But after watching the ep, the grade is just right.
