Agree. I actually think the show suffers sometimes, or it did last season, when it relies on the ‘twist’ factor. Like how Jack died, etc. While the brother reveal this episode really worked (I teared up), the smaller moments make the show as good as it is. Ofcourse the actors help a lot. I loved Life Partners! It was such a sweet movie! Meester is fantastic in it. Also helps that I absolutely love Adam Brody and the fact that Leighton Meester and Adam Brody are married in real life is just the sweetest, most adorable teen show union ever.

Ah I haven’t seen those movies, so maybe! She was very one-note on Gossip Girl and was constantly outshone by Leighton Meester, who I believe should be having a much bigger career.
