Come on. “The Cleaners?” Like a group of garbage-men would decide to all dress the same and carry around flamethrowers to burn the world to the ground. Like that would ever happen in a world other than Mad Max... but it’s still a really cool idea, and they are, by far, the most visually and mechanically unique faction…
Still, some see moral ambiguity while others, such as myself, see none. As I stated in a reply to another user, I think it’s more of a decision of art direction over narrative. If these enemies looked more like the antagonists in those awful “The Purge” movies, or had a more style, we wouldn’t be having this dicussion…
I actually noticed that fuck up, but couldn’t fix it after the post became popular. No more edits for me. :(
Well, when I see a guy leaning over, bashing another person’s head into the ground with a baseball bat or the butt of his rifle, that’s a pretty good visual indicator.
The Cleaners and LMB are immediately visually identifiable, meanwhile the Rikers generally wear a mixture of prison uniform and prison guard gear.
There have been many critics that take issue with the ‘killing poor people bit.’ Me, on the other hand, could care less. It is shooting at you? Can you shoot back at it? Okay, that’s enough for me.
I never questioned the morality of killing pink demon cow things in DOOM, or wondered what the part of the world the…
Patching.... Wait, 3.15GB?! Damn, that’s a big patch.
I really hope they didn’t over-nerf the Shock Turret. I never really experienced a “Stun Lock” scenario while using it. Perhaps if 2-3 people were using it at the same time, but I never stun-locked anything playing solo.
After posting this comment, I have come to that realization... a sad realization, as in my general play-through I murder this spawn without prejudiced.
Killing one named and committing suicide is extremely anti-productive if you ever intend on getting to BZ Rank 50+.
You lost me at “microwave.”
As of today, I purchased the Recipe for High End stamina knee pads, which I rolled twice, and got an average pair. That cost me almost 90 Phoenix tokens.
Civ 5 has always been my in-between game. When there’s nothing out that I’m really excited about, or have absolutely no plans for the weekend, That being said, there are very few games that I can say (or at least, Steam can say) that I’ve spent hundreds of hours playing.
My gripe is simple. I got to level 30 with pretty much ignoring the DZ. Once I hit 30, I was still in blues and greens, so I farmed General Assembly about 10 times, went all over looking at the game’s many vendors, and re-rolled gear that was close to what I was looking for.
“A greater quantity of levels does not make a better game.”
So let me get this straight... Episode one is 3 levels, 2/3 of which were already completely free to play in the beta/demo?
Fuuuuuck that.
The SOCOM version is the most balanced marksman rifle in the game, in my opinion. There’s another version of it called called “First Wave” that has the same attributes, but a slightly different stock.
When it comes to marksman rifles, it does as much (if not more) damage than a Covert SRS, but has a 10 round magazine…
My tip: Find a SOCOM M1A and ruin the world.
