@dowingba: Well if you want to talk about putting an 8-10gb HDD to good use, you could make a small PC to simply play music when mounting it in your car, or turn it into the base operating system drive to make a small media center PC.

Don't people salvage anything anymore? I mean there's plenty inside an original Xbox to use. The hard drive, the power supply, the cables, possibly the controller ports (I'm sure there's some way to rig them up somehow to use them on your PC.)
