Absetee voting IS widely available, tho. You can look it up same as I did for any jurisdictions’ BOE.  There are ALOT of things to complain about in our election system besides the things we do right.

All of those states do in fact offer absentee ballots. The valid excuses range from I’m at work to I’m on vacation to I’m pregnant to I’m old or caring for someone housebound.  All require a sworn statement of the voter’s reason for absentee voting.  Not an onerous requirement.  Please check your facts.

As an American who actually does vote in every election every time because it’s my responsibility as a citizen, I have a severe allergy to people like yourself spreading disinformation.  Disinformation is a troll tactic.

Early and absentee voting require planning. Another fun fact is that voter turnout in the US is sometimes as low as 10%. Pretty short lines if only one in ten are there. I’m sure you’ve heard the saying “anecdotes are not data”, right?
