These discussions of rape in college always prompt me back to the same blog post on research into Predator Theory on Feministe.

or "All rapes must take place in the Skull and Bones building, unless an emergency rape."

I imagine the policy will read something like this:

Regardless of this woman's mental faculties, I'm not sure how this place gets away with calling itself family friendly. Those signs aren't, really, and cock rings are sex toys, no more no less. So, which aspect of that seems appropriate for children? I don't have any real issues with nudism, but that sort of

I'm with you. You can't simultaneously argue that that the colony doesn't allow "sexualized" nudity and that many of the residents regularly walk around adorned with sex toys. It doesn't work that way.

I don't think that's head bobbing I think it's more like "yep this is basically what I expected: a goat rodeo shitshow"

and oh yeah, i am effing SICK, literally SICK, of seeing women naked or half naked shaking their entire body about FULLY dressed men who move about as much as cardboard boxes. it's so excessive...and very very obvious. it just makes me angry...

Probably rubbing the foam finger between her legs and sticking her tongue out. Or rubbing her ass on Robin "I'm Married So I Can't Objectify Women" Thicke's crotch.

WOOO-EEE-OOOO

I keep having to remind myself that this isn't satire.

Lately, mainly while reading Jezebel comments, it's starting to seem to me that we're fighting each other more than we're fighting the remaining obstructions to true equality, and it makes me sad. Is it really more important and unjust that a couple of radfems somewhere on the internet are decrying the use of make-up

LOLOLOLOL @ Neko Case being autotuned.

Neko Case is a goddamn inspiration. For real, I don't know that I can relate to you if hearing her music/reading her thoughts doesn't make you feel 100% stronger and more ready to kick ass.

Flame away, but I would so much rather have someone refuse to serve me outright than have some bigot begrudgingly memorialize one of the happiest days of my life. Let them stay home with their hateful juju.

I tend to view these cases as women saying, "Being alone isn't a deterrent. Being with a man isn't a deterrent. The old guard rules really don't work after all."

As someone who had her first panic attack in 8 (8!) years this morning, can I please have my imminent breakdown with weed and red wine in Hawaii? Pretty please?

No, this is definitely not okay. Not even a little bit. It is not something we should make light of or laugh about. It might be true that once you send someone a picture, they can do all sorts of things with it without your permission or knowledge, but just because something is possible does not make it acceptable.

100% not okay. illegal, right? illegal?

I can't help but be reminded of this awful video I saw of this pervert in Prague who goes around with a video camera approaching women on the street and offering them money to have sex with him. He even says on the video that Prague is a poor city and the women would be grateful for the money. As I was watching this
