I actually used vinegar on a swiffer pad yesterday to mop my pergo hallway floors. I wish I'd known years ago how nicely vinegar cleans things & gets rid of odors. Sure, it may smell like vinegar for 20 minutes or so, but once it dries, it smells like NOTHING, which is optimal.

Actually vinegar and baking soda will create sodium acetate trihydrate :P
