It’s almost as if she had no valid arguments.

Sweet Christ, a logical and professional answer? How did you even end up at Kotaku? Kudos to you, and as a manager in Biotech, I’ll say I tend to promote women more than men - they get more done, seem to work harder, while some of the younger guys tend to coast along. So fuck that previous boss, and good for you.

Yeah, reading her entire Twitter - she’s a horribly toxic employee. I’d have fired her a week in.

It’s called “Don’t speak ill of the dead.” The dude wasn’t fucking Hitler or Stalin, he didn’t kill anyone. His biggest sin was holding an opinion you didn’t agree with.

Well, given you don’t have a timeline on her firing, you’re acting a bit ignorant, ya? Or do you assume it takes three days to read a Twitter thread? GTFOH.

You are single handedly restoring my faith in people. Likewise, anywhere I worked would have got my ass fired in a heartbeat. Why Price thought her public Twitter account with her job title and employer attached to it made her immune is.. well, fucking confounding.

The blade cuts both ways, guy. I bet you shed some tears after the Hogan verdict was handed down and destroyed Gawker too.

Why do you keep saying “investigation?” This isn’t a criminal matter, and it only makes it more obvious that you’ve never had a real job. News Flash: Corporations that employ you can do whatever they want. They’re not obligated to reveal their processes or reasoning.

Maybe when they’re done using “Mansplain.” Which is to say, probably never, but you’re not alone in finding it both stupid and tiresome. I’m socially progressive but even I understand that the tactic of weaponizing hashtags and shit like “snowflake” is working against them by annoying the ever loving fuck out of most

“Professional peer?” Dude, she writes narrative. Her degree was probably in creative writing, it’s not like she’s a fucking Ph.D or J.D. I wrote 20 page stories when I was in middle school, it’s not that hard, it just requires an imagination and command of your native language. Stop acting like she’s a Nobel laureate.

It’s not a personal account if you list your employer and job title on it - this is common knowledge these days.

500 is graduate level, dingletits. Go cry in your corner about how a notoriously cunty person got fired for poorly representing her company. At least she’ll get to enjoy her unemployment check.

Fries’ firing was a bit odd, but I think maybe he pissed off the wrong people or stepped on the wrong toes during his tenure and this situation just gave ArenaNet the excuse they needed to let him go without severance. It’s entirely possible the case was the same for Price, since she comes off as a huge liability the

Uh..Your definition of “Indirect” is pretty off...Referring to the person who posted a respectful response as a “rando asshat” is pretty direct. Not only that, he had the good sense to simply walk away when he was faced with the vitriol. In any other industry, this chick would have been sacked long ago.

Dude..How old are you that you don’t understand the difference between “What a company publicly says” vs. “What discussions happen behind closed doors?” What kind of fantasy world are you living in? No company ever cites past behavior like that, why would they air their dirty laundry like that or expose their HR

You’re being generous referring to it as a “personal account.” She had her employer and job title listed on it, that immediately makes it a customer-facing account. Even if she tried to sue for wrongful termination, no lawyer would take the case solely on that fact. She made it clear she was acting as a company

That is a horribly inaccurate statement. It’s quite likely that ArenaNet had plenty of ammunition to begin with based on her interactions with colleagues in the workplace. If she blew like a powder keg at someone just politely disagreeing with her, do you think she never did it at work? This was likely the last straw

The writers refusal or straight out  being understanding is infinitely amusing.

Univision owns most of it, so you’re an idiot either way.

Are you clueless here?
