Cause iO understands you suck, and while they hated the movie, they want to ruin your day personally.

Trying to compete with the Borowitz Report is like trying to make the best shit sandwich. End of the day, you’re still eating shit.

I would say early on he is supposed to be an anti-hero, clearly the protagonist but it is supposed to be a chronicle of his decent into darkness. That said, I think your read is right in how the show treats him as a hero, even giving him a heroes ending that is unearned and a bit gross.

Counterpoint: git gud

I assume its the same as in the US, but almost no network / studio keeps a president / regime that long, so it would not be surprising if enough people cycled out in 4 years that he could get work there again. He did exactly what his agent told him to do. The story checks out.

I think he may have also joined when it was Kenneth Branaugh still directing, or the Game of Thrones lady, both of whom left the project. It could easily for both those movies gone from: this will be at least ok and working with good talent to a terrible movie with a mediocre director. (I dont remember who ended up

Right, he waited for a regime change and then went back to work. It was what, 6 years inbetween Dr. Who and the next show he did with them?

The big issue isn’t the computer itself, which does start fairly quickly, browses internet fine, is that with high end professional programs the specs trail in comparison, and you can’t upgrade. A (custom built) PC laptop that cost the same as the mac laptop I am typing on would probably be double/triple as powerful.

Weird, cause the boomers have constantly only hired freelance and rarely commit to hiring my generation for longer than week to week, if that! So if I’m not constantly looking for a new job, I have long unemployment gaps on my resume.

It’s great! The scale is small and the reusing dungeons is definitely sucky, but the story and characters are great!

“I’m trusting someone who has a reason to lie over actual reporting.” - a big dumbass.

Here is a timeline by iO, he joined after the second book was published, and the film studio had optioned the whole trilogy, which means they had most likely had the third book already.

Literally everyone who retweets that conspiracy should be perma-banned from twitter.

Do you have a source for gip/gyp? I have heard that one a lot, but last time I looked into it, there wasn’t hard evidence either way.

Having just rewatched some of these, unrelated to this article, it’s also insane to me Toy Story 3 isn’t top of this list. It’s a near perfect movie. Also, Up held up better than I expected, but I think you’re right that the dogs feel like they are from a different movie. But damn the score of Up is perfect.

No, they all came out the same year, and before he came on board. Highly unlikely the screenplay didn’t go through multiple rewrites after the book came out and after he came on board, if not being completely rewritten when he joined. That being said, I have read all three books and didn’t remember the line.

Ah, you’re just an asshole, got it.

I think you could make the case that Jessica Jones is one of the best things they’ve mage, and Kingpin is probably the best villain in all of the MCU, but yeah, they have serious story issues with the episodes.

Where they were setting it is far enough away they would have had to house crew for the night, pay travel costs, per diems, it’s much more expensive, and much harder, to shoot outside on location. The sun moving and changing the lighting. Sound issues, controlling the public. Depending on the cost, it probably is

Although, Gavin and Stacey is one of the better shows the UK has produced in the past decade. I agree he hasn’t really done much else, I think the problem is he’s very funny from a writing standpoint, but he lacks something as a leading man - much better as a dwight than a Jim.
