10 years ago I probably still would’ve been hyped but I frankly can’t even remember.
Sequel should have been easy: carry on the narrative from the first one, improve & expand on the Zelda stuff, improve or can the stealth bits, and evolve the overworld more in the proto-open world manner it sort of resembled.

No reason

Lets just be honest. Its only “In development” to keep investors happy. As soon as that’s not required it’ll be cancelled. We’ve seen this before from Ubi. Make investors happen is the number 1 plan.

That one teaser from way back when looks worse every year. I don’t mean the graphics, I mean the tone—I would hope as a society that we’ve moved past the reflexive belief that grittier, more vulgar, this-ain’t-your-parents-Beyond-Good-And-Evil is an intrinsically worthy endeavour. WE’VE GOT A MONKEY THAT SAYS ‘MOTHERFU

The level of incompetence at Ubisoft is astounding.

Yes, obviously the companies that generate these training databases and sell access to them have control over how they’re used.  This argument is the equivalent of “You can’t make it completely impossible for somebody to break into your house, so you should do absolutely nothing to prevent burglaries.”

The way that human artists learn to draw and the way that the Stable Diffusion algorithm generates images are fundamentally different. Modern “AI” is still incomparable to actual human intelligence; that’s just a label that researchers put on it to make it seem more advanced than it is, and you’re buying it.

Spoken like someone who has never attempted to learn any skill or craft in his lifetime.

It isn’t creating anything, but sure keep talking about things you know nothing about.

Yeah, except it’s not creating unique stuff, because AI “art” is completely dependent on having pre-existing art in its database to copy from. It can’t make new ideas, it just reinterprets old ones (and the result is usually worse than the original.)

If you know how AI art works, you’d know nothing it creates is unique.

I too can be an absolute dingleberry at times. I also say really stupid things with great confidence.

You know you have the ability to not click on a link, right?

Just here for the comments bitterly moaning about “why are we talking about this” as they drive up engagement ensuring the content continues to generate coverage.

They’re very mad about that, verging into Incel talking points.

Did you just entirely skip the article? Serious question.

It’s media production, and there’s a lot of human labor required for making media that looks professional and consistent. Even going by your asinine amazement that there could be someone whose job it is to heat up the hot tub, while it probably isn’t solely one person’s job, that one person could be maintaining the

you completely missed the part where there was an article above the comments section.

Oh okay, so your take away from this is that you are in a position to advise a woman who has only recently divorced from an abusive partner.

You’re the one babbling. She could have just fired them all and called it a day. In fact, by not doing so, imbeciles have jumped on that as a sign she hasn’t changed her streaming.

Yeah. Going to need you not to say that anymore.”
