For most 1/Series versions, no it’s not possible. Maybe it is for things like NBA2k where the versions are completely different purchases.

Those numbers are incorrect, you need to check again. Series games will not run at a lower framerate than previous gens versions UNLESS you’re choosing some kind of looks over performance mode. Which you should obviously not do if those missing frames bother you.

Question for you, why is Nintendo the only one who thinks that games retain their value over time? Like, they believe that the game is worth $50 or whatever it is, even if it’s years after the fact. Meanwhile, despite this game apparently being “worth” $70, it will be $40-50 by the holiday season of later that year.

Oh, you mean the original version. Any kind of electronic sensor has a sensitivity. The premise of the one in Halo was that it tracked dramatic movement (running) and wasn’t sensitive enough to detect slow, cautious movement from a distance.

They renamed it the “Combat Sensor” for that reason.

The differences are like the graphics options in that case. So in most cases you can turn them off (example, set HDR to off). Is there a reason you’d want to do this?

How is it that the idea of “stop arbitrarily insisting Ps5 games should cost more” doesn’t occur to you? You think the price of Ps4 games going UP is more logical than the price of Ps5 games going down? This is hardcore boot swallowing...

More expensive storage than what? You can still use external HDs for Series, they just need to be the super fast kind to play Series games that use those features. If you’re playing an older game, you can use an external from anywhere, just like XB1.

Thanks for this comment, I hope that video eventually murders that bit of “folk wisdom” completely.

Since always. Look up “Nijisanji” which has over one hundred mixed male and female streamers.

If the problem is that the games themselves are harmful, limiting playtime instead of going after the games is just backwards. “Huh, all our kids are eating rat poison.”Well... let’s limit them to two glasses of rat poison a week then.”

“I’m so loyal I’m never coming back because you did the thing you always do!” Sure, sounds very real.

For the author, it’s pretty much too late to beat all the content if you’re still struggling, but protip. Either go to a mass Arknights community of some kind and friend some powerful people OR friend farm by inviting a Support to help you each time you play a level and then adding them as a friend afterwards. I appreciate your point, that you just are sharing your experience. However, I’m very over the “bad thing exists... no moral” style of statement. It leads to people feeling hopeless, like there’s no way to push back against this toxic, futile culture, when there ARE ways. Number 1, never take the status quo as some

The games aren’t made on a reasonable timeline, TLOU2 was repeatedly delayed. Speaking of “passion” and “dedication”, you need to look up the turnover at Naughty Dog. It’s tremendous, and extremely harmful to their work product.

They could also just have you work a normal amount of hours and give large cash bonuses to the most efficient and productive people. They don’t HAVE to work you double the normal amount to give you the resources you’re dying to have, that’s a choice they’re deliberately making.

The last physical Xbox game I bought was Darksiders 3, and only because there was a significant price break on the physical vs digital version. Then they gave me the game on Games With Gold anyway, so now that disk is just taking up shelf space for no reason...

The game still has to install to your hard drive, even if you have the physical copy. So there’s literally no difference there. Are you under the impression that physical games play off the disc? They do not, they install the data to the console. So if your drive can’t hold GTA V, Red Dead 2, God of War, Kingdom

I would wager the vast majority of the gaming audience who loves physical copies does not do this quick turn around sell because they will always talk about their collection in this argument. Hard to have a collection if you sell your games as soon as you beat them...

This argument is incoherent. If it takes you 12 hours to download the digital version, the massive patches awaiting you won’t be any better for the physical version. Likewise, running out of hard drive space to hold the game will happen whether you have a physical or a digital copy... it’s the same amount of space on
