Alternately Thawne succeeds in using the spear to make himself a real boy and goes on his merry way.

"And here's where he says he used to be Ra's Al Ghul"

There was a serious opportunity missed by not having Billy Koenig say he gave the Darkhold to Drewbacca when he was being tortured.

There was that very brief moment this season when Barry was forced to quit his job. Adding Julian has helped bring a touch more focus to Barry's day job, but not by much. Arrow's been doing a decent job this season of balancing Mayor Queen and the Green Arrow.

I saw that, looks like a ton of fun.

Looking at the synopsis for upcoming episodes Cadmus is seemingly going to make a return so I think they'll be back as the big bad.

Okay yes, that's a bad look, but when it comes to the very narrow band of crime fighting she does have some natural advantages over any human. It's popped up before on the show. Kara wants to protect everybody and is perfectly willing to throw herself in front of anything because she's nigh indestructible.

The audio on my local CW station blipped out immediately after Mon-El said he "like liked" Kara so I missed what her response was. Very annoying. I figured she shot him down, but apparently that wasn't true?

I didn't mind Alex and Maggie not getting as much screen time this episode. They're some highly concentrated adorable, and a little goes a long way.

And she's freaked out about Alex facing down super powered individuals as well. It's pretty in character for Kara to think she's the only one who can stop that sort of threat. The people on Earth-1, well that was a pretty rushed time.

I'm saying the odds of Eddie Thawne being Savitar are probably better than 75%

I'm pretty sure Rick Cosnett is coming back this season so…

Oh yeah, i forgot about that guy, and I even own those comics!

Kate, added bonus, she can talk about her cousin with Kara.

Girl's Night Out for the a-plot. The b-plot is Maggie's ex from Gotham shows up in national city and she and Alex have to deal.

Alex was almost nauseatingly adorable at the start of the episode, it was pretty great. And then she kicked a ton of ass when they invaded the alien moon. She is by far the best character invented for the show (sorry winn), and I hope they find some way of including her in the Rebirth canon.

Clark Kent: deadbeat dad is such a bummer though. Sure, technically he didn't know he was a dad when he vanished for years, but still, that whole backstory was a drag, the kid, abandoning earth, and casting actors who were way too young to be in a direct sequel to Superman II.

There's always Cupid.

Thea is a fun character, but Benoist's performance is the single best example of what sets the CW DC apart from the movies.

The ratings were better on CBS, but a lot of that has to do with CBS being in way more homes than the CW. Even with slightly few people watching it's still the second highest rated show on the network.
