Trout's the first position player since Barry Bonds to have a WAR greater than 10, and given how video game Bonds' numbers were that should tell you just how jaw-dropping Trout has been this season. Even moreso than a guy doing well at three arbitrary, not all that informative stats.

Speaking as a long-time, unrepentant DMB fan I agree, it's a disservice to everyone to call them a jam band.  They just string solos together, note at all like what Phish (or moe. or Umphrey's) does.
