I would LOVE to have a classic Saab like you mentioned. I mostly got my RX8 because my last two previous cars were Saab 9-3's, so I decided to try something different with the hopes of going Saab again in the future, but now it looks like that won't happen. I'll probably get a BMW 3-series next time.

I think they'll bring it back in the next three or four years, but if they don't it makes the RX8 all the more collectible. I love mine.

The engine is definitely quirky, but bugs and engine failures can be avoided by treating it properly. You have to let it run for at very least five minutes and it really needs to warm up before you drive it in the wintertime.

Great car. Frankly, I'd kind of forgotten about it. I think another future classic that is similar is the Mazda RX8. With it's Wankel engine and unique styling, there's nothing quite like it on the road today.

I think it's appropriate. Most people who quit their jobs write a "letter of resignation", so who cares if it is delivered physically or electronically. I've done it before. In this day and age I don't think it's unusual at all.
