One of my automotive goals is to own a car in a fittingly appropriate wild color (sorry, yellow and red don’t count). Lime green, plum crazy purple, (orange?) orange, or what the heck, some sort of stunning blue like Swedish Racing Green.

The people who rail against the awfulness of buses are generally people who took it once and had a bad experience. It’s the “a liberal is a conservative who’s never been mugged” argument.

I rode the bus the Chicago suburbs for a few months. Never saw any one threatening, nor were there any peculiar smells, man-spreading, or the like.

Jesus, do you live in fucking Bogotá, or something? The bus in most cities isn’t as bad as you’re describing. When was the last time you rode one? I take them in Los Angeles all the time and, yeah, you’ll get some oddballs sometimes, but it’s mostly normal people trying to get somewhere just like you.
