I know - I occasionally reflect on the fact that he went all those years driving incredibly fast cars with no mishaps. Only to be felled by a damn skiing accident. Just unbelievable.
Never mind endurance racing - my instructors at HPDE track days yell at me to stay off the curbs. And admittedly, sometimes the car’s balance is upset when it runs over the curb. If I was a faster driver, that could actually be dangerous.
