I liked it because I've been car crazy as long as I can remember. I liked any movie that featured a car as a character. But yeah, I doubt I'd like it now as an adult.

Really? Wow, you just destroyed my childhood belief that the name comes from the sound of the engine turning over and then coming to life with a backfire.
No, a präsident.
As you say, the issue is the relative value of time and money. I used to fix my car when money was scarcer than time. Now, time is much scarcer than money, so I'd rather pay depreciation on a new car and on repair shops than do the work myself. Whatever free time I have for my cars, I'd much rather spend driving, not…
There have been some fatal accidents there - a Pakistani airliner and a Thai Airbus 300. The Thai case is discussed in detail in one of Macarthur Jobs' books on airliner accidents.
My encyclopedia of car sounds tells me it's sort of like a snot snort.
I agree with you, but you know what - you sound just like the people who pile on to your articles saying, "But, but, but, it doesn't come with a warranty! What about maintenance costs!" Accurate but irrelevant.

Yeah, I saw his episode on that car. You're lucky to have seen the collection. I wish I could.
Can the public see Jay's garage or did you know him personally to get a tour?
I honestly did not realize there was a diesel Jeep Cherokee. I guess I learned something new!
Isn't it true that diesels actually get better mileage than the EPA rating? So I read somewhere anyway.
The X3 is a bad example. Try a 3-series with the sport transmission shift algorithm. These all have paddle shifters, and if you put the vehicle in Sport or Sport+ mode, the ZF will bang out shifts with the best of them.
Where can I find a used driver for the price of a new landscaper?
