He let me drive the R for a bit and man it's an amazing car. But once you experience the grip of AWD or the stupid fun RWD can offer it's hard to justify the price of the R. $5 for a GSR? Sure. $20k for a type-r? Nope. I could buy a handful of miatas or a really nice s2000 for what Rs are going for today.

My cousin rode the bus in highschool, the same route for four years. Everyday he would see this yellow type-r peaking out of a garage, sometimes he would see it driving next to him. He loved that car, it was his dream car. A decade latter he finds a yellow type-r for sale. He emails the owner and just asks if it

GM should buy it stuff their V8 in it and call "Corvette classic". Every Boomer mad at new Corvette will flock to these and buy them out of spite.

Because some people have more money than patience.

A Nissan rogue.

Up garage is one of the things I miss most about Japan, well that and Coco's curry. I was stationed there and made good drinking money buying and selling stuff I found at up garage and parts off.

It matters for bragging rights (which probably drives 80% of supercar sales) but personally I don’t care for them. It is cool to see cheap ass hot hatches posting supercar numbers though.

Just for shits and giggles please go nuts like this when the new Nissan versa comes out.

Those were the days. Iirc it was even an SE-R. Sucks that it was one of the first import magazines to die.

They should offer a budget version. Everything everyone replaces with aftermarket stuff they should put in the cheapest part possible. And for the interior it should be a speedometer taped the dash. Top it off with seats from a Nissan versa. Price it low enough to make $1 off of it and flood the streets with GTRs.

When I was in the air Force I worked on aircraft and everything was documented. I decided to do the same thing with my cars and its been pretty good. In the front is all the quick reference stuff, oil type, part numbers etc and the rest is just a quick log of what I did on that day. It really helps for big projects

The next big thing in car culture is going to be...barf...brodozers. No engine mods needed so you can pass smog and there isn’t any laws limiting lifts. And if there are they aren’t enforced.

No Stingers or 2.0t Accords? Hell even a new camary would be fast enough for the daily commute.

Have Dodge sponser the show and give them some hellcats to roll around in.

And two of those are sitting in my father in laws yard slowly returning to the earth.

Here at Kirkland it's alot of new muscle with loud exhausts or new WRXes with loud exhausts. And plenty of brodozers and wranglers.

There are plenty of places that prey on young military members with high interest rates for new cars. And a lot of then take it not knowing they’re getting majorly screwed.

I drive past the airmen dorms everyday and you'd be surprised how nice their cars are. Plenty of 30k+ cars in the parking lot. I remember when I was an E3 I drove a pos $3000 car I bought from the lemon lot.

Surprised no one mentioned a used FiST. It’s my dream car right now. Fun enougha, cheap enough andcan fit two kids easy.
