I don't agree with your logic. What other version? Even if another version does come to exist, how would making this one look worse benefit them. Nobody's buying HD remakes of games that came out a month ago.

That's a problem I think. Nintendo knows how to make a good game. If they're making these new IP's that are so unpopular is gotta be they're not putting enough effort in marketing and/or development.
