They did similar things before with the launch of the first Steam Deck and it worked pretty well actually. Tying it all to a steam account with a purchase history is pretty significant in terms of blocking bots and chances are high that they’re also monitoring strange behaviors too. I’m pretty sure that they monitor

I wish them luck

“Your scientists were so preoccupied with whether or not they could, they didn’t stop to think if they should.”

I’d add Octopath Traveler 2 to the list.

Because Keighley is bought, and the tally is too easy to manipulate.

Planet of Lana was great. Like Cocoon, it targeted a more cohesive, encapsulated type of experience and accomplished exactly that.

Starfield was not ghosted, it wasn't deserving.

That’s because Starfield is the definition of mediocre, and for the budget and time spent pathetically empty.

Why should it get nods at the VGAs? Indie titles are more engaging. It’s supposed to be recognized why, exactly? A gigantic balloon budget and a celebrity game director?

Call me crazy but this marketing vehicle gussied up as an award show is not where I care to hear takes regarding Middle East conflicts.

I really hope it’s not Shepard in any form.

Just let us play as Niftu Cal you cowards.

I at least hope we keep some of the combat from Andromeda, tho. The game may have been a disappointment, but it had the most fun gameplay of the series (IMO). Being able to mix and match powers in ways you never before could was really nice as well.

I’d be okay in Andromeda as long as it’s within a better game.

I mean, if you really wanted to justify Shepherd existing in some sense six centuries later, there’s the fact that Shepherd already died once and she was retrofitted with considerable cybernetics to bring her back. Plus, in 2/3 of the viable endings she merges, in a sense, with the God-Computer.

Dear Bungie,

They’ve identified a core strength, and they’re committed to focusing on it.

After that, Genvid will try to have its Twitch-style chat overlay back on track within the next few months. “We’re not gonna get it right the first time, we’re definitely not going to get it right the second time,” Navok said.’

Same here. SH2 was kinda playable still, SH1 was just way too old, clunky, and ugly to deal with.

Can we just start calling this the Cycle of Destiny? Every couple of years, players fall off for one reason or another, then Bungie says “sorry, we will make it right.” Then a couple of months later, there will be an article about how Destiny is better than ever and it's the best time to play.

If only they could have seen this cumming...
