I mean, think of it this way: Is Nintendo going to be helped or hurt by releasing another racing franchise that will only cannibalize sales of Mario Kart 8 and its DLC? I just can’t it making sense at this point.
Maybe all of this F-Zero stuff being made is a sign that Nintendo is still aware of the IP and currently planning to do something with it?

They had that track on Grand Tourismo 2 which had a great licensed soundtrack. The first two or three GT games hit the mark but everything else sucked when they went with all that unknown stuff.
