It’s been a while since I’ve watched Turn A but I don’t remember anything as dumb as some of the moments from the first few episodes of Reconguista. I don’t remember the dialogue being that incomprehensible either. I do remember Turn A had quite a lot of silly moments but it was never quite nonsensical. Silly yes, but

I can see a littpe Steel Ball Run Dio in therem

i’m so jazzed for nagato yuki-chan. i found out that it was becoming an anime a few weeks ago, quite on accident, and i’ve been stoked ever since. i hope i succeed in actually watching it (since i’ll have to find somewhere other than funimation to watch it...).

It is quite different in terms of style and story but the overall humour and over the top-ness of the original series is retained

Well, at least they made the end of Season 1’s opening sequence come true. I don’t think they need a whole new season to wrap things up, maybe just a movie or two, the way Higashi no Eden did it. I was pretty satisfied with how it ended.

Question from the uninitiated: are any of these based on books? I’m a librarian trying to freshen our public library’s teen manga/graphic novel section and need some recommendations. Sadly, our Fruits Basket and Boys Over Flowers aren’t circulating much anymore and a bunch of our Naruto are missing. We’ve got some

to be fair, the World break premise were good though. but the execution and production quality is a disaster...................

Yeah, Aldnoah’s music is top-tier. This show is one of the few where I enjoyed all of the theme songs. I would pay to get all of them.

The pose, the costume, and the cosplayer are great, but the photo itself is a bit lacking, I think.

Oh yeah and throw economy into the mix, that defo had an impact. As for the massacre, it caused a huge decrease, but like I said there has been a resurgence, just it just hasn’t been as massive as it had been (especially around the time of densha otoko).

I’ve been looking forward to a non-UC Gundam for a while now but after a few episodes of Reconguista I was just “ugh”. It’s just incomprehensible and bizarre. And not bizarre in a way that’s both deliberate and entertaining but simply nonsensical. The standout moment of the first few episodes was when he’s running up

Aldnoah.... well, the story crashed and burned in Season 2, though it did wrangle most of the viewers since Season 1. At least the mecha battles were still fantastic. It’s too bad the characterizations just seemed to have been destroyed near the end of the story.

I agree with what you say. I actually loved Parasyte, but it was such a letdown towards the end that it felt like it made the whole season limp. Would have liked more of an expose of the facts how they were towards the end. It was a dry ending and in my opinion it brought no closure to the whole story.

That’s like painting each scale on an alligator skin bag a different color. The reason this sort of works is because it’s rather obviously mimicking scales, so there needs to be a certain amount of uniformity across regions.

Loved how the horrific taste of peanut butter octopus in shokugeki no soma was explained in almost the same way the superb tastes in koufuku graffiti are explained.

I thought they were going to be painfully embarrassing because the first picture shows the girls sort of hiding their faces, as though they were ashamed of being photographed like that.

Its really surprising to see Shirobako at no. 1 though. Most animes that span over a season usually falls below top 10 charts.

I’m currently watching: Your Lie in April & I have Durarara x2 shou, Saekano & Shirobako in my upcoming queue! guess I’m not all that far off the Otaku Mind Hive!

No gundam build fighters try? It just ended last week. I like some of the gundam main series like wing, seed, 00 but the war theme isn’t my favourite so it took a lot of persuading getting me to watch build. My partner watched the last ep while he was here and I started on episode 1 of the non try series. It’s really
