So what you’re saying is that he’s a dude, playing a dude who plays another dude?

This is not done in malicious way, so people need to calm the hell down.

yeah, it took a second a glance for notice.

When is it black face and when is it simply someone simply dressing up as another race without trying to be insulting?

I’m kind of over the term “blackface” when there isn’t malicious intent. Darkening your skin (or hair, or eyes) to impersonate a celebrity really isn’t the same as this, which is making a disrespectful caricature of an entire race:

Yeah, a lot of people think that ratings are enforced by law, but most are industry self-regulation. Most game retailers won't sell M-rated games to children as a matter of policy, but I don't think a person would get arrested for doing so.

You'd have a point if most of those incidents weren't actually the ideas of producers and writers. I believe the only off the cuff racial-ish remark was that one time with the Mexicans, and that was definitely Hammond rather than Clarkson.

I think it's pretty clear the Argentina thing wasn't done on purpose.

The fatalities in MK have always been awesome, not surprised that they have become more gruesome. It's expected with better graphics. But, I don't dig the X-ray attacks so much, it takes away anything that could be left to the imagination, which is half the fun of playing MK.

They need an unlockable color mode in the options.

I totally agree. Ed Boon is awesome.

I know this series isn't for everyone, and that's okay. But I'm glad at least 1 game franchise from my childhood has managed to stay true to its roots despite the pc-ifying of the gaming industry.

In all of those games you kill your target because the game tells you to. Context is rarely important, "go here assassinate this guy" and "save the hostages kill their captor" are basically the same instruction as far as the player is concerned, that is the next objective, it is the way to progress in the game, it is

I spent about 3 or 4 hours dragging 4 people to the incinerator and cleaning up blood. Was a good day.

Because anime. Western people can't get over their "all anime is ultra-violence" or "all anime is naughty tentacles"-mentality. Nowadays it's "all anime are horny schoolgirls" and anything that challenges that mentality is automatically met with disgust.

It's not meant to be tolerable or acceptable. You're not playing a good guy. You're playing an obsessively jealous person willing to kill her peers in order to cull the competition. Don't really see why it's any worse than any number of other games though. Whatever perceived "acceptability" there is in GTA, it only

Because internet is full of people craving for any reason to feel offended or disturbed.

Yandere are the best girls... in the first week at least?

You forgot Manhunt and Hitman

Why are people so disturbed? I've seen worse and more realistic in other games. Like hatred, assassin's creed and even God of War. In fact, I remember Heavy Rain being way more disturbing.
