I thought Boyega looked a little goofy but I have a feeling he is going to become a lot more confident in the coming movies.

I know Anohana can be somewhat divisive at times in regards to its heavyhandedness of melodrama t times, so it’s nice that these creators can mix it up with subtle aspects, especially regarding a mute character too.

I feel some of the fan frustration is there because the hiatus was just so lengthy. A few weeks or months is one thing, but some of the hiatus was almost a year each.

The actual character designs (as in how the characters’ facial features look) was done by another designer, but yeah, character proportions in some far away scenes had that CLAMP look to it at times.

Yeah, the CG was just really, really awkward in general. The girls really do look like they’re flying.
