Makes me wonder Disney has the guts. They still haven’t proven to me they have what it takes to make a dark superhero movie and same applies to Star Wars. I am constantly afraid that Disney is just too family entertainment oriented to ever do any truly tragic stories or dark stories.

I just hope we get some JRPG unveils and footage on E3 this year. Last year’s Japanese game presence was very low and that really disappointed me. I hope the big 3 system companies and maybe even Steam/PC sells the appeal of JRPGs as well. I want to see more of it on trade shows.

It was okay to a point. After a while, it just made it seem like they were making her into a whiny character. I still hate the implication that I was supposed to be in shock that bad guys and criminals are killed.

Some players definitely sound better than others and it’s great when actual voice actors speak, but yeah, this is too real for too much of the game.

I hope this means they don’t have mumbling player voices this time around. Some of the player voices were ATROCIOUS. I mean listen to this.

Hell, I feel Lara should already move past it and just become the femme fatale we all knew and loved. So tired of the whole ‘oh no, we’re killing murderers and we somehow feel remorse’ nonsense of the latest Tomb Raider. I want my confident sexual goddess of an archaeologist back.

Kind of funny considering the game at its most ‘risque’ is still so tame, you can probably show it on network television on prime time in America. Prude to the max. And yet people go nuts about it ‘because videogames’.

A lot of Japanese creators and fans despise it. It’s just an issue of the government intruding into entertainment for the sake of looking self righteous. Nobody is happy with the situation there.

“Gritty but cartoony” is becoming too frequent these days. I honestly wouldn’t mind a super serious game or an off the wall wacky game either way. They always keep trying to play both cards this way.

Yeah, I am interested in stuff like the Warcraft movie adaptation because of that. There’s just so much lore and adventuring, it will be a major undertaking to compress them into a movie (or even a movie series).

Well, Dedenne is really cute in the show though. Even half the size of Pikachu too.

I really do wish they mix up the mascot character of Pokemon a bit more often.

I did catch up to most of it. Yes, it’s a really fun experience. Makes me wonder if HBO might adapt it if they run out of Game of Thrones material. Or even better: A theatrical movie.

I wish the designers had thought about that when coming up with its design. Seems like a fatal flaw that you alert the enemy when you run out of ammo.
