My guess is that Cap will wield the Gauntlet and undo the damage (and probably die in the process). The Red Skull cameo did call back to the fact that the Super Soldier Serum was originally designed to create someone capable of wielding an Infinity Stone.

Or have loads of Spider-people, go full Spiderverse on it.

One thing that isn’t called out - we already knew about the incident with Syd’s mother and her boyfriend. She told David about it in season one, back when they first had sex on the astral plane. That for me helped to lend the episode an air of tragedy and inevitability.

Yeah, it is also 100% Rob’s twitter personality given independent life. Right down to the wife cheating on him with her trainer. I’m just waiting for the stock photo Large Adult Sons to show up.

That being said, thank you for the gigantic spoiler right in the headline. Really appreciate those.

It was incredibly obvious (to almost everyone) that the last “Black Hood reveal” was a fake-out. So I’m not sure why this is such a gigantic shock.

Because I love it, here is Stanley “Artgerm” Lau’s variant cover for this issue.

Odin’s ass can always do with more kicking.

I’m hoping that the next issue features Odin saying something shitty and then finally getting the righteous beating he’s deserved for the last two years or so. Just a shame Jane isn’t around to deliver it.

Really hoping they have Dario Agger heading up Roxxon.

She was leader of the Avengers back when I started reading.

There was one other nod to Army of Darkness - at the end of season one Ash made reference to having had to chop up an evil clone of himself before.

It’s worth noting that British comedian Robert Llewellyn (Kryten from Red Dwarf) had an almost identical show called Carpool two or three years earlier than Seinfeld.

Lupita Nyong’o is from Kenya, which is getting the film a lot of attention there. Enough to get it a news story over which city would host the premiere (which delightfully refers to it as “Lupita’s Black Panther”).

a) That would show weakness.
b) Roman history shows that having a specialised “Imperial Guard” is actually a really bad idea. Historically the Praetorian Guard soon started to abuse their status, which culminated in them auctioning off the post of Emperor after they murdered the previous one for not bribing them

Pretty sure I caught a glimpse of Mako piloting at one point there.

Or Push. Or Chronicle. Or Unbreakable. Or Jumper.

Yeah. Between these and Logan I’m really enjoying the “loose coupling” approach that these properties have taken to continuity. It’s a lot more sustainable than insisting that the Marvel movies and Agents of Shield and the Netflix shows all take place in the same universe, despite the weird asymmetry in how they

The level cap in Origins is pretty soft anyway - once you hit it you keep gaining “levels” and getting skill points, but your level number doesn’t increase and neither do your base stats. (Or the amount to gain a level, so increasing the level cap may actually make maxing your skills out more difficult.)
