While I agree that the cast of the game looks like a FF-parody of NsynC, I can’t really judge how their characters will play out since I haven’t played yet. And I guess it’s also possible to a certain extent to have a very nice FF game without being overly invested in the characters but to enjoy the world/gameplay…

Wow, that actually makes me wonder if that can be a real thing. Not that I have children or feel like dying anytime soon, but hey, if I had thousands of dollars worth of steam games on my account and WAS about to die and had children I would like my collection to be passed on.
