Vectoring is still there, ledge grabbing is more complex now, I seen people use it very well even though they have no invincibility. Hitstun allows for better ACTUAL combos like in Melee.

I'm a competitive player and so far I like more SSB4 than Melee, it has more technical variants than you can possibly imagine if you don't research it, the only difference between this game and Melee now is that Melee has wave dashing and L-Canceling.
