Kind of reminds me of the little web game (Tasha's Game [www.doublefine.com]) Double Fine did but with random pieces. Hadn't seen this before but very excited now.

@Krakn3Dfx: Makes me to think of to catch a predator.
@fauxbravo: Aside from you have to buy something every four levels to keep leveling.
Not that it was a huge thing, and not that it seemed much better in the trailer, but the cape and the way it moved was certainly kind of off.
Unlimited boost? I haven't seen much on this game but the dev demo video I saw the other day makes it seem like that would go against half of what they're trying to achieve.
@NeVeRMoRe666: Absolutely, the first two thirds of the movie is what's happening every day in a good chunk of the world but with aliens.
@Ben Applegate: Or developers of massive open ended games could not screw those of us who get sucked into the main plot and want to explore later over with points of no return that seal off the rest of the world. Recent frustration in point, Shadow Complex which I stumbled into and had the game autosave.
@fox01313: Indeed, I was almost certainly buying this anyway but this more then sealed it.
@yeOldeTimeyGamer: Yea... because games, especially on the PC, never come out broken... I will admit things have gotten worse or at least more noticeable since consoles became patchable.
@jesterspawn: It's just a good thing it takes 8-10 years between these games because clearly the next step is buy all the box copies plus $15 a month each to play them or all three for $30!
@Cochese: Now with moxie.: Clearly you don't eat very good quality food. Stuff that's good quality should be flavorful on it's own.
@Darkly Dreaming svenhoek: Well it's better then then $200 the pets normally go for on ebay after the show.
As a BBY employee I will shoot myself in the face if this becomes national and I have to deal with this all day long.
This is simply the reality of sports, and especially football and baseball, today in that they feel the need to fill every second of the game with advertising even if it impedes the game itself. It's really a joke and it's funny though because they were talking about this exact same thing, except real sports and not…
@C-Stick: Yea but that little tiny bit that it did is what made it hot.
@Eviltim: Every iteration has always had terrible technical troubles for the vast majority of people. To this day, two machines later, I still haven't been able to get 2142 working right.
@SilverStar95: I've always wondered that but never had a pack I wanted to buy with just one thing I already owned so never tried. Was tempted to buy the HOMMV one last week but didn't want to risk it.
@kneegrow: Well no... not quite my math challenged friend. You can can get those three for $30. But with Civ IV and all the expansions that makes it a phenomenal deal since you're then getting X-Com, Railroad Tycoon, Prey and Pirates for free!
@Char Aznable says, Hail to the King of Pop: There's no point in monitors for gaming. The only reason it has any purpose in HDTVs is because movies run at 24 frames a second and uses interpolation to remove the need for extra frames to get from 24 to 30 fps. Beyond that it really is pointless.
@DozertheDozarian: Yea, bought two besides WoW in the last year and one, Conan, was a complete waste of money but the other, Warhammer, is still a really cool CE even though I don't play it anymore. I like things with snazzy figures though...
