I hate to say this, because I entirely support phasing out the monumental waste of paper that are phone directories, but there remains a large segment of the population that still relies on these as their primary source of phone information. @sublimnl: I would promote you there if I could. I thought the same thing. Reading the preview ont he main page, I clicked through hoping to see a breakdown (or even mild glossing) of exactly what the authors explanation was of how the government dropped the ball.
