It might have helped to say what it’s predecessors were about.

and it doesn’t detract from your experience by not having every fucking skin for every hero.

It’s not a deal breaker, but it just seems against the spirit of fun to leave people who have Credits saved up out to dry with the real possibility that they won’t get the cosmetic they want, when the Credit systems exists to combat bad RNG by taking the sting out of duplicate items and give players a goal to save

Important facts:
Fact 1 - I went to the open letter page and did a search for “bandwidth” and nothing came up, which leads me to conclude that Pokevision’s creator did not consider that their connection to the Pokemon Go servers was absolutely killing Niantic’s bandwidth budget.

Idoubt those numbers too...

I’m... kind of appalled at the majority of Pokemon GO users. Brother-in-law was complaining. Guy at work was pissed and no longer plays he says. “It’s like running around blind”.
Huh?
Was my wife and I the only people that played the game legit on it’s own and had fun? Going to a shopping center and doing a lap. Going

I think we already know the answer to the question. No. It won’t live up to the hype. How could it?

Oh NO! People actually have to go out and enjoy what is supposed to be a random chance game. Whatever shall we do?

Thank you, this is what I’ve been saying ever since I knew about these tracking sites. Just enjoy the game for what it is and play fair, and go off your gut with tracking them yourself (mini road trip, a hike to the local abandoned asylum and/or estate in the Raccoon City Woods, etc.)

I think you are comparing apples to oranges, or at the very least, navel oranges to mandarin ones. Yes the Game Boy and DS titles did not show you where Pokemon are, but they were different games. Besides the fact that Pokemon spawned so often that there were items to keep them AWAY from you, the key focus was

Randomness factor? Cheat? Uh ok, first, that is not cheating, regardless of what “Jank” says. The game is not very well designed and since launch has regressed quite a bit. Using a service that actually provides functionality that is pretty key to the base experience is great, and if anything should be a wake up call

If it was truly random I’d be ok with it...or if Pokemon showed up where they were supposed to. I have 2 large lakes and a river in my town. No water Pokemon have ever shown up at any place near water after spending hours walking around on the beach. If I could rely on Pokemon being where they are ‘supposed’ to be

I’ve never tried to use one of the third party tracking apps, but I completely understand the desire. The randomness factor becomes a huge turnoff when the effort involved in catching any pokemon, even pidgey and rattata, crosses the line from fun to excessive.

My thoughts exactly. Third party stuff is cheating. And if people weren’t being stupid and trespassing, we wouldn’t need the tracker.

Exactly, it would be like playing Pokemon single player and knowing 100% of the time which pokemon you would find in the grass.

I absolutely agree with this. In a similar way, it feels like how excessive data-mining and metagaming had a negative effect on my enjoyment of many MMOs.

Because the Glock is a proven design. Why try and redesign something that works so well?

You could say that this cosplay is “right on target.”

Of which most is used to buy American weapons and develop American used hardware and electronics. There's a reason the Israelis no longer buy from the French and Europeans... US would just probably lose more money by cutting the subsidy.
