I dig it. In Season 4, Bird gets his turn. In Green World, the pipes in his mother's house actually do burst, and he spends four episodes looking for a good contractor in the Greater LA area.  In Red World, Ghost Bird tries to communicate with Britten to solve crimes from beyond the grave.

So what you're suggesting is that the Black reality is the darkest timeline, where Britten grows a goatee in lieu of wearing a rubber band.

drdarke hits it on the head - The AV Club lauding Todd Margaret made me feel as if I was living in the darkest timeline. It had a great premise for a movie or a three episode run. But it just felt so. goddamned. forced.

There's an "I love Fusco" thread on the IMDB.com forums that's second only in popularity to the "Music in PoI" thread. Rightfully so, as Kevin Chapman deserves all the love he can get for his role.

The Hugh Jackman / Rachel Weisz / Aronofsky vehicle that split a love story amongst three darkest timelines?

Bed time?

Why must Hollywood hate Kyle Killen? First Lone Star, now Awake.

I shall write many an angry letter - ink, paper, salty tears and all - to NBC if it doesn't announce a renewal next week.

Two back-to-back solid episodes of Supernatural? What is this, season 4? I feel like I'm taking crazy pills.

Only five words need to be said about this episode:

Am I wrong in thinking this was probably the best episode in two seasons? Not due to Felicia Day, not due to more Dick (hurr hurr), but just good direction and pacing…

On a totally different topic, anyone else catch that major goof when they had the investment banker in custody? The shot of the photo they showed him was of the victim lying dead on the ground, but subsequent shots were an alive photo. SLOPPY CONTINUITY ERROR, I SAYS.

And yet, no one comments on Judy Greer (aka Kitty aka Carol/Cheryl) looking very BODACIOUS, and unfortunately very clothed.
