After seeing this I would say fund the police, so they can actually train people and hire professionals to screen for public menaces like this guy.

Wow, shameless clickbait. These cars look less reliable? How is that a valid assessment tool. Cheaply done Jalopnik.

The series was great, way better than any of the movies.

That’s just her ‘acting’

Who hurt you? You’re offended somehow? Christ, the internet brings out the worst in people.

Just about any modern car can go 200k with proper maintenance. Sadly, most Americans are terrible at maintaining cars, so these are the cars that can tolerate abuse.

Humor...look it up...

Not smarter necessarily, just more educated in their craft. (YOU DON’T KNOW ME! ) But supposedly smart engineers engineered Porsche Boxer engines that would blow up, Pintos that would blow up, Corvettes (sportscars) that suffer from oil starvation in high G corners, Porsche brakes and EVs that catch fire for no

I know it doesn’t drain immediately, but you can be sitting at a light or in traffic long enough for it drain completely. Part of me wants to think manufacturers wouldn’t engineer something that would reduce engine life (right? right?), but the other part of me is skeptical, and if I had a car with that feature I’d

Hypocritically hilarious that a so-called christian has an Only Fans page but takes her kids to a private christian school.

I wonder where they got a Magnum XXXXXXXXXXXXXL to wrap the shuttle

Turbos are not new tech. They’ve been ubiquitous enough since the 80s; that they’ve become durable and reliable. The same goes for timing chains. If you’re that paranoid that something will break, better not buy any car. Just take Uber.

What does stop/ start do for engine longevity though? I’ve always heard that 90% of engine wear happens when cold starting, but in a stop / start car, even if the engine is warm, oil drains to the oil pane during prolonged stops.

Supremely annoying function though.

I thought it looked like a 124 when it first debuted, and I prefer the Fiat.

Disagree, a lot. Even in premium brand sports-car mad So Cal I’v only see a few, and they don’t stand out like the previous Z4 did. It’s generic and oddly proportioned, like the wheelbase is too short. The Supra is outselling it for a reason.

Bought a lightly used Fiat 500 for the wife a few years ago. 20k miles, like new, good price. We started on the paperwork and saw a $995 charge for their Anti-Theft GPS tracker, which wasn’t included in the advertised price and said “uh, no”. They whined that they put it in all their cars and couldn’t remove it. I had

Clarkson has aged worse than anyone I can think of, My dad is 84 and looks younger and is in better shape than him. Also, all that money and you can’t afford a dentist? He looks like his breath would be horrendous.

Landau bars are standard.

When the public at large wakes up to the Great German Spin Machine and realizes that not all great cars are German and not all German cars are great, and in general German are over hyped and overrated. Also, this gen A6 is boring AF. I fondly recall the handsome first two generations.
