Toyota has actually increased production of the 4Runners to meet demand, so there is still plenty of spillover demand from CUVs into BOF platforms. This would be a great vehicle to see in the North American market, but Nissan has apparently contracted Mitsubishi’s growth strategy.

Same with my e-Golf. Salesperson also told me that we can charge for free at the dealership as he demonstrated his lack of knowledge in trying to get the Chargepoint plug out of the charger (hint for non EV drivers: they are locked until you pay to start charging).

Loved my 2002 4Runner and recently my 2016 Tacoma TRD OR but it really made me miss that rear window and the massive rear cargo area. I will probably evaluate all the options above when my current lease is up next year (and end up 4Runnin).

The Alltrack is surprisingly way bigger than the 3-series in terms of cargo volume (data from Cars.com). These would be the 4 cars I cross shop around $30k before I wound up buying a 4Runner.

Yes, even leaning against the car for a moment can be disastrous when you end up scraping that Levi’s rivet across the paint. Same goes for zippers, rings, belts, etc. On that note of saving beautiful objects, don’t play guitars in hoodzips either unless you want to bore a hole through the back of it.

I’ve read that a lot of people cut out the grate in the back of the case so the exhaust fan has less resistance. I’ve been considering trying this but I don’t run that hot with my H80i and i7-6700k. We’ll see with my i7-8700k that arrives today.

The DRZ400SM is a 10 year old design that is heavier, less powerful, has a 5-speed transmission and is still carbureted. There is no comparison here. The only benefits to the DRZ are the stock 17 inch wheels and that they are dirt cheap used. The Honda would slay it on a kart track.

Well done, Honda. Add this one to the street legal supermoto conversion list.

I’m always ready to move on to the next ride after a year. The only cars I miss are my post-high school 1999 Acura Integra LS (Fast and Furious’ed out) and my FR-S which is kind of a RWD Integra of sorts.

Super late to the party on this one, but really fantastic pictures Kristen!

My wife had a 2014 CT200h for 3 years. Probably the best looking hatchback out there still to this day. BUT the interior on the 2016+ Prius (trim level IV) is far ahead of the CT... much more comfortable and quiet, more features, more powerful engine (for what it is) at a lower price.

How did that cover get so muddy.
