How much weight is the tailgate rated to support? (i.e. - motorcycle loading, heavyset tailgaters taking a seat, etc.)

Maybe it was taken with a really high shutter speed for a crisp spyshot and caught the LEDs mid cycle? Lights do weird things in front of cameras.

It looks like they used an Allroad-mallet to bang this thing into shape.

On a very related note, this same exact thing happened to this car’s direct predecessor... our family’s 1998 Ford Windstar which has similar specs- ~3500 curb weight and 18/25 mpg rating. It’s amazing how the exact same type of Ford performance vehicle has the same issues nearly 20 years later.

Download AirMap and get depressed about all the places you can’t *legally* fly a drone.

I use the Amex Blue Cash Preferred- 6% back on groceries (up to $6k/year), 3% on gas for the same $95 annual fee. Best grocery card out there and supplement with 5% Chase Freedom during the grocery quarter because of the spending cap. Considering ditching my Amex Hilton for the Platinum card since I don’t use Hiltons

Was really hoping they’d at least update the tires to a more modern 140/70R20

Electrek found some interior shots of the car showing only ~180 miles of range, so just short of the 200+ mile rumors. An eventual battery pack refresh could fix that though.

The Model 3 is supposedly being offered with two battery sizes—55 kWh or 60 kWh—but the automaker has been seen testing a mule with a 70 kWh, according to Electrek...

Flat out through the follow-through, he loses it... and he’s off!

It’s got lasers. It’ll melt away everything and clear your driveway.

It’s pretty obvious you’ll spend that extra $10 on coal. All part of the plan...

Not an immediate solution, but they have mentioned building their own battery factory. Not entirely sure their hypothetical Uber partnership is going to work out, though.

I’m going through a similar situation with my 2012 rMBP. The battery was kaput and the replacement battery is 3 months old and randomly shows between 40-80% health after just 24 cycles. I think it’s time to cash out and go for a refurb 15" touchbar MBP at this point. 5 years is the longest I’ve ever owned a piece of

Stock 4Runner/FJ Cruiser wheels are 265/70R17. Thi pictured tire is 225/55R18 which leaves me to believe this will be closer to an off-road CH-R than a FJ. A quick google search for “225/55R18 off road” returns Subaru Forester, Jeep Renegade, and Mitsubishi Outlander forum posts. I would think they would try to tease

How do you buy something without your own money? When you say “new” are you referring specifically to first-gen products?

If you ever want to ride a KTM 690 Duke, let’s swap and go for a ride. I’m pretty sure we’re almost neighbors. My instagram is mattbookpr0 (with a zero).

You got your WR250R for $3000? I thought those were $5000 across the board regardless of year, mileage, supermoto, accessories... not a bad deal. Sloth Life FTW eh?

It should be much closer to $30k considering it is more like a Gundam’ed out Mazdaspeed3 replacement in the segment than an EVO/STI/RS competitor. At least on paper.
