I read in an E36 forum a while back something to the effect of “there’s no such thing as a sub-$10,000 M3.” You either pay for the maintenance up front built into the price for good examples, or you go cheap and make up for it in repairs post-purchase.

The pressure on automakers by fuel and emission regs has done incredible things for the enthusiast community. Turbos for everyone. Want efficiency? Leave your turbo stock. Want power? Quick ECU flash and add tons of cheap, reliable power.

Sucks the big one.

My modded Bonneville (intake, cams, exhaust, tune) gets 35 if I nurse the throttle. Haven’t really seen below 30 when I romp, though.

Really like the way this looks. Manufacturers are definitely carving out the segment we’ve all been hoping Yamaha, KTM and Honda would. Hopefully we see the latter two jump in (690 Adventure or sub-800c Africa Twin).

I just recently started looking at the supermoto builds of the CRF250L- such a great looking supermoto. This is another cool variation of what is apparently a very adaptable little bike. Hooray for the expanding entry level ADV market.

I would really love to know what they did to enhance the rear diff. From everything I read, the factory Focus RS power level was already pushing the limits of what it could handle.
