Same here. When people think hot wing sauce is just Frank’s and butter I laugh and blend up Tabasco sauce, thai chiles, habanero peppers and some other special ingredients that make your scalp sweat buckets and your poop melt porcelain.

I went with “Silicon Valley” with the intent of excluding Microsoft from the list, since they are in Redmond as you mentioned. I’ve heard that Sync 3 is better, but I haven’t gotten my hands on it yet.

It’s similar in my Jetta. There’s no option under the Audio or General Settings. I think the BT Audio pairs when you pair it under the Phone settings, but it’s been a long time so I don’t remember exactly. The Multi-Function Display in the cluster seems like the obvious place, but you can only use it to connect to a

*Gets in Nissan Altima rental car*

Replacing the shocks on my 2002 4Runner (from the Northeast/Virginia). Every bolt was so hopelessly corroded, I had to Dremel/Sawzall the ones I could reach. It also involves puncturing the metal exterior of the shock with a screwdriver to keep it from spinning around. Easy job turned into a full weekend.

If you own a black car it says you must love the look of swirl glistening in the sun cause there is nobody short of Larry Kosilla up for maintaining that nightmare (Full disclosure: I’m on my first black car and now it’s out of my system). Pearl whites hide scratches beautifully.

One of the committee members, a former engineer raised a good point... and I’m paraphrasing:

My lease has a weird clause that I’m allowed to do minor services in my covered parking spot, but any long term car projects rendering a vehicle powerless for more than a month needs management approval. Thought that was some pretty specific language... then again, every other driveway in the neighborhood has some

They got rid of that motor. Most of the base/lower trim VWs come with a 1.4T or 1.8T.

I live a few miles from UCLA... you can come hang out and poach my internet anytime!

Since the last truck was called a “hummer” this one should be called a “ZJ” cruiser.

I went to an ENT for snoring. Turned out to be a deviated septum and massive tonsils. After getting my septum repaired and a tonsillectomy all in one shot, I’ve been sleeping like a ninja and I’m generally immune to hangovers like some sort of superhero.

I went through a binge of your and Wes’s RideApart articles a couple months ago, and once I ran out I went to Common Tread for more material. Looking forward to seeing your work on my first/last stop of the day. Welcome to Jalopnik!
