I still look forward to these posts and seeing cars where a few years ago you would have balked at owning one. In a few years I’ll be happy to see “This 550hp Jaguar F-type R coupe is the same price as a 100sq ft. Samsung French Door Refrigerator with built-in HyperSuperMucho HD 64K Augmented Reality TV and Cheez Whiz…
He posted it to his “Michael Ballaban” Kinja, then as an administrator of Lanesplitter posted it to the Lanesplitter front page.
Edit: Just re-read the linked article. Thanks for the pixelated Porsches, finally!
+1! I swear the American Audi/BMW asshat stereotype needs to be changed to an Altima/Maxima stereotype. I make sure every one of them in proximity is on my radar.
Ugh, I just bought one a week ago!

I think it’s Hilii
Just quoted two totally different bikes I have my eye on... CCs make a massive difference. One super-fun-super-naked and the other mild-mannered-super-eco commuter. I think that made my decision a little easier (until I want more bike).

I feel like if I got another bike it would a great experience- something with a windscreen and fuel injection... and going…
You’re a patient guy in a generally thankless job, Shep. You do good work.

I went with a TDI Sportwagen to get the utility, smooth freeway cruising and decent MPGs here in Socal. 6 months in- I’d rather pay the premium and burn some extra gas to be more excited behind the wheel. While I enjoy the premium feel of the cabin... I’m finding a general lack of enthusiasm when applying the gas…
I’ll drive them. Free of charge.
I just vomited in mouth a little bit. Never saw this one before.
